Money-making Monday!

Money is good. But it has its place like everything else. The problem these days is we don’t seem to know or appreciate the limitations of money. We stretch it to do or cover for things it has no business with.

Integrity for instance, money cannot cover for it. But it does these days, doesn’t it? We over look major personal flaws in people just because they have money!

It is sad.

Money cannot cover for human dignity or self-respect. A poor man can have self-respect, and money does not automatically bequeath a man with poise or decorum.

Money cannot make you happy if you are a bitter person.

Money cannot buy you a good partner if you cannot attract one with your kindness or charm.

Money cannot buy you peace of mind.

It cannot buy you true friendship.

It cannot sustain your appetite for God’s word.

I can go on and on.

Money has its place, yes. It makes us comfortable, gives us an edge, open doors, shuts doors….

Money can do a lot, but it cannot do everything.

So as you enter a new week, give money a task to accomplish, but do not make it the master of your life.
